Common screen repair faults

A broken display screen isn’t the only reason for a laptop to require a screen repair. Other possible problems are dead pixels, horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines, distorted or blurred display, black and white, faint or flickering screens or even colour tints.
The Inverter controls the power going to the screen backlights and a faulty inverter may be causing screen flicker and faint image problems. Not all display issues require a screen replacement. The fault could be due to failure of the inverter that powers up the screen, in which case screen repair might prove to be a cheaper option.

High gloss black screens look so much more stylish than standard matt ones and are a quick relatively inexpensive way to update and enhance the appearance of your old laptop.

If you are not able to bring your laptop to our office in Victoria for your Laptop Screen Replacement or Repair we can arrange a courier to pick up your faulty laptop and return it to you once the repair work has been done. The cost of courier service will vary depending on your location.
